I never can bring myself to dress up in a sexy outfit. What can I say, just not me. But I DO like the concept of surprise and was interested to learn that the ability to be surprised speaks well of one's mental health.

Actual Valentine's Day will involve my kids and my boyfriend's kids at our house. Luckily they get along. I guess they'll do arts and crafts. I think of it as a silly holiday just for kids but now I get that it's nice to have an excuse to do something as a couple. I think I"ll ask for and offer a backrub!

well since you asked what we're going to do ourselves wednesday I'll say that I wasn't going to do ANYTHING. I was feeling a little hopeless and angry about my partnership due to step-issues (don't get me started).

but this has me thinking it would be nice to take a break from it. I think maybe we'll just do something like order in dinner and watch a romantic comedy? I'll let him pick the movie, that will be the compromise/surprise! thanks for this.
